Where to get information?
I'm a beginner and I'm trying to learn as much as I can. Sometimes It's hard to understand what you guys are talking about sometimes. Do any of you know of a good site I could go to -- to learn about reefing?

Welcome! and Ditto to what everyone else said. May I also suggest, whenever you come across a word or idea that you don't understand, do a search for it. (there is a search link at the top of every page) I did that and learned an enormous amount very quickly.

When you see a topic that you do understand read the post on that topic. I am also new. I am gathering my equipment piece by piece here. While waiting on the equipment I am doing as everyone here suggest and doing my research. Research and ask questions is the best way to understand.

Ditto on what everyone else said.
But to make your life easier (since I know at first, I found this site hard to navigate...even though looking back, I'm not sure why)...here's some links to stuff everyone was talking about :
The TRT FAQ section's list of acroynyms and what they stand for :
http://www.thereeftank.com/forums/fa...m#faq_acronyms
Articles about getting into the hobby:
http://www.thereeftank.com/forums/fa...les#faq_sywart
Our Book recommendations: http://www.thereeftank.com/books/
(I'm a huge fan of the 2nd book. Aquarium Corals)
I recommend posting as many questions here as you have (no matter HOW stupid you might think the ? is. Ask anyways. Everyone here has a sincere desire to help you have a sucessful tank!)
Also, get some of those books we recommend. There are a lot out there. Some REALLY good...most garbage. Read, research, and more important than ANYTHING else...take your time.
And welcome to TRT! VERY glad to have you here!!!

Deuter,
You just found the best place on the net to learn about reefing. I only started a little over 1 yr and 3 months ago and I learned about 90% from TRT. Just a helpful hint, everyone like to talk in acronyms here to save time typing so to help you out here is a great referance to all TRT acronyms, hope this helps. http://thereeftank.com/forums/faq.ph...m#faq_acronyms
