New pumps are dirt cheap at www.marinedepot.com or other sponsors. Been soaking mine in vinegar now and then for a long time but never wore out an impeller.

Are you losing power or is it leaking?
Loss of power could indicate a bad impeller, but leaking is a bad pump seal. Two diff parts

It looks like the impeller has come apart. There is 3 seperate parts that slide on the shaft. The blade appears that its stripped. Just spins while the magnet stays still.???
