Where should I put them?

First I would like to thank everyone for there help on this rebuild. I am almost done for now. Todays questions concerns the placement of the powerheads in the setup. I have two MJ 1200 with the conversion kit. I have two of the Koralia 4s and I will be running these on a Red Sea Wavemaker. Now I have all 4 pumps on the side glass. Two on one side and two on the other, one high and one low. The tank is a 90.
Thanks for all the help.

I'd do just like what you have, 1 high and 1 low on each side of the tank. that mixed w/ your return pump flow should be pretty good

I have 3 K3's and a modded mj in my 75 and I ued to have them on the back bouncing off the sides towards the front and then having the flow sort of collide in the center. I have an offset overflow in the tank and it prevented a lot of the suspended detritus from getting to the overflow. Now I have the mj in the middle back on the bottom pointing to the right, on the right side on the back one K3 high and 1 low, both bouncing off the right side then going to the front. I put the 3rd K3 on the left side in the lower middle pointing towards the right to create a sort of vortex effect that seems to get the detritus to the overflow better. I have a sea swirl on my return that breaks up the consistency of the vortex through my sps to create some inconsistent pattern. This pic isn't real current, but it gives you an idea of the right side. OK, can't post a pic, sorry. I'll try again later, not sure why this happens.

That's really hard to say specifically. For me i try to get flow in all the places I cant reach and then the bottom. The idea being that as long as flow keeps detritus from settling then its good from a maint. standpoint. You will have to consider the preference of your coral for flow also. If you can, watch the debris float around in the tank for a bit the way you have it set now, if you notice any major dead spots then change pump a bit. Just play with it till it looks like you get the most out of the water movement. Definitely keep the unreachable spots in the flow!!!!

I am having a hard time finding the dead spots because the Red Sea Controller turns the pumps on and off with out pattern. I have a lot of rock in my tank with a Cap 220 i think pump pushing water thru a plenum I have set up behind the rock. Send pic if you can and any and all input is appreciated.
