Anywhere you would like in a moderate to low flow area. They have NO Lighting requirements but need to "filter feed" the water to eat, Thus the Moderate-low flow,

I Keep looking at our in ground pool and wondering how much Live Rock I would need to make it a Reef!

tuck them in the rock work where they will be safe from anything that might want to pick on them.

I usually tuck mine in a crevice or hole in a rock. That offers them protection and a place to attach.
