Is any of that white stuff slimey? If so, it's due to die-off in the rock and it's time to syphon.

If not, the color-change is more than likely due to one or more of the species of coralline dying back because it doesn't like the lighting in your tank. No worries; another species will more than likely take it's place.

Is it slimey?

If so, take out the yucky rock, do a water change, save the old water in a bucket, swish the rock around in the bucket (scrubbing if necessary to remove the gunk), swish in clean SW and return the rock to the tank.

Some people just let it clear up on its' own, but I'm more of the opinion that you don't need *that* much die-off in the tank to cycle it.

If it's not slimey, leave it be.
