whats this crap on my rock?

my water is in line with trates less than 5. pho4 less than .5 but a little higher than id like. it seems to be linked to detritus build up and is forming cyano in a few tiny patches. the tank is a 55 closed sytem. im in the process of seting up my 125 reef and wondered the best way to get rid of this crap before loadin the new tank? all rock is covered with coral so it will be tough. any suggestions aside from the obvious (more flow)?????

I am a newbie guy so I am not 100% sure, but it might be Bryopsis. It looks a little like that when it first starts to grow and then will turn into a leafy agressive Algae. I hope I am worng.

well , i have a large yellow tang that wont touch the stuff. snaills arent helping, and i left the lights of for 5 days and the junk is still there. it doesnt have a color and really just looks like crap sitting on the rock.

i guess ill try to scrub it off a rock and see what happens.
