whats the BEST way to safely remove a RoseTip Anemone?

A friend of mine has a RoseTip Anemone that just SPLIT into two. He is willing to let me take one but not until next Tuesday. I have yet to touch the anemone but know they can really grab on and not let go.

How do I safely remove it without damaging its tissue if it is FIRMLY stuck on a large rock and wont come off with my fingertips peeling on it?

Friend is unwilling to break or chisel the rock.

It is very dangerous to pull their foot off of a rock they are firmliy attached to. Their foot is very likely to be torn and once this happens their chance of survival lessens greatly...I have a great website about Rose bubbletips I will try to find it for you...

I have removed anemones from rock plenty of times. The main thing is whether or not you are sensitive to them. My condy's never stung me but the carpet does. It would be better to use gloves but for what I am doing I like to be able to feel the base and can't do that using gloves. Anyway if you cant reach the rock comfortably, use another container with sw to cover rock and anemone. Then I gently GENTLY use my finger and rub around the base of the foot. Usually they will start to pull loose were I am rubbing and I do this until the whole foot is loose. It can take some time and I try to keep my hand under the foot so it sticks to me and not to another area of the rock. But as I said you have to be gentle and go very slow. I have yet to rip a foot doing this.

Yes, it can be done VERY gently... what I was referring to was FORCING it off the rock by pulling the foot off and potentially tearing it.
