There's lots of great used stuff out there, but keep in mind that you will probably have to replace the bulbs.
Usually I pay half price when picking up used equipment.

First off,.. If you have a standard 20G tank it's only 24" long - is that the tank you have? Or do you have the 20G "long" that is 30"?

Depends on the nem. I kept a condy for years under 80 watts NO in a 20 high. It finally outgrew the tank. I did feed it regularly, though.

The used Tek light for $40 could be a good deal, depends on if it needs new bulbs already. I'd probably try it on your budget. Also, I agree w/ above on the powerheads, get a Koralia 2 for your tank, even though it costs a little more, (use the savings from buying the used light) it will work much better.

Sorry, used Nova extreme, not Tek, but it would work for softies, probably not for an anemone. I don't think it has individual reflectors.

those koralia 2 would be way overkill.. lol. the nanos are too small. (i have 2 in my 20L) the 1's should be good. i have 2's in my 55 and there is a heck of a lot of flow in that thing..

it does not have individual reflectors. i have 2 of them over my 20L.. (actually one right now due to temp issues) good lights. depends on the anemone you want to keep to. and how much you feed them. the ones i have in my tank were the haitian and condy anemones.
