My other probblem is my LFS's do not sell allot of different fish. Clowns, damsels, tangs, and FO type fish. Once in a blue moon I would see a 6-line wrasse or a psedochromis. I dont deal with most of the the LFS's because their lack of knowledge and $$$ are nuts. if they had a clue then I would go to them. I thought about online but I dont trust shipping live fish and the shipping costs out way the savings of the fish anyway.

I will give this some more thought this week. I dont see How I would aquascape and I dont know what I will do with the tank.

I just want to say I think Your tank looks very good. You may want to also add a background to the tank , Black one or even blue it will bring out the beauty of your tank, and I agree a whole world of great fish and creatures for You tank you can get.

if you are not able to get livestock from LFS, than i totally can see your problem. most LFS will order anything you want, but still this can be a pain.

ok, i think i know what your problem is. your LR is to flat. you have good looking corals and livestock, buy your aquascaping skills are not up to your husbandry skills and i think that is what is depressing you. are you trying to have it viewable from all sides or just the front? you have some nice big rocks there that could be put on thier side to raise it up and get more interest. have you thought about maybe making a canyon in the middle with the LR on the ends?

i am thinking you are a bit worried about rock slippage on the BB tank also. if you use some of those smaller rocks as wedges this should not be a problem.

I just added two neon gobies to my tank because I only had a clown and a firefish. I felt the need for more action, so I can understand where you are coming from. The neons have great color and personality and they don't add to the bio load much. BTW I had to order them special from the LFS because mine always seems to have the same things in stock.

You can add a lot of color to you tank by adding different kinds of base rock. This way you will have a lot color before your corals get larger. My tank is 5 months old but looks good in color because I used a lot of different base rock with my LR. Here is a picture when I started it, I just rescaped it yesterday and it looks a lot better now, more 3D looking.

i really think that if you stack up the LR so it is taller, you will find the tank more exciting. creating caves for the fish to swim in and out of. do not be afraid to stack all the way up to the waters surface.

HTH,

I have to get some more rock as well to hopefully reseed the coraline that is gone.

As far as stacking it may be tough, The SPS has finally started to attach to the LR. I will have to chip them out,
