If you do it with no do it yourself about 2500 - 3000 bucks...
I am looking into getting the same tank. AGA Megaflow 120 with MH ./ VHO lighting for Reef / SPS and other.

tthe tank was $700 the lichtning $150 the stand/ect was $1700 the sump/ filter $200 pumps $200 2 magdrives 500 so that brings me to
around $3000 for what i have now

Honestly, there is oil in the motor used for storing the boat. So the motor actually may be in good shape. I should check it out this summer. I only used it for one summer. Thanks for the tip though.

I'm over 4K on my 72, but that's including stocking it (LR, inverts, corals and fish).
not a very cheap hobby, this is.

thats a beast of a 50 gal
what im trying to find out is how much will the lightning and protein skimers be + how much rock will i need aney ideas of what type of lightning i should try to get for it i have very good remote ballist runing 2 4 ft 50/50 vho i know ill need more than that thats only 220 wats total

All I can say is after this your wallets gonna be hurtin.lots of $$$$$$$. Ive got a 100 gallon and so far done about $1,600 lookin at an extra $300 just to fill it up with more corals. Although I live in the land of cheap reef stuff(hong kong) and buy all my equipment for half the price you guys get. good luck
