Question

What Type of anemone??

My dad surprised me with this anemone and i want to know the exact type it is. I know a lot about fish but not so much about anemones so verification on its type would be much appreciated.

P.S. It founds its own path in between the rocks. It seems to like it there.

Well i haven't really seen it bubble much.. So i dont know if that would still be it or if some just don't bubble as drastic as others.

Also im wondering the possibility of it being a bulb anemone. If you go to saltwaterfish's page under invertebrates the brown bulb looks pretty close in comparison. Any thoughts?

The tentacles dont look like an anemone. They are too short and too many, an anemone would have most on the outer ring and would have a large mouth in the center as well as longer tentacles.

Looks like a ticked off H. aurora to me. These are sand dwelling anemones, so like Tim brought up, they require good lighting that can penetrate all the way to the sand bed.

It does have a big mouth in the center and is no doubt an anemone. Ive takin the pictures with my phone so it may be hard to see but it for sure is a anemone. And it actually seems to be quite happy with my tank.
