What to do about these mushrooms?

Ok........I have a question for everybody. I have a ton of these watermelon mushrooms in my tank. We all know they are almost impossible to kill. They are starting to spread across my whole tank! My question is what would you guys do?
The store by me said he would swap out my rock pound for pound. The only thing is I am talking about like 60lbs of rock with some zoo's, and misc other little stuff.

What do you think?

I will get some pics of the infestation tomorrow.

You can cut them off with a razor and cover the stump with kalk paste to clear some areas. If a rock is covered with only shrooms it may be easier to trade. Some folks find keeping ultra clean water leads to less mushroom growth

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

Thanks that was what I was kinda thinking.
The problem is I am lazy, and I have a stupid cansiter filter that runs from the built in sump through the uv streilizer, and back to tank. I need to get rid of the canister cause I can't clean it but once a week. I also have a 20 sump with a skimmer that helps, but I think the canister dosen't allow me to get below 15 ppm of nitrates.

Stupid mushroom are chokeing out some of my other stuff.

I never knew mushrooms did this. today when i was looking in my frag tank, a mushroom popped off a rock and floated around and got all fully extended and then landed on another rock and is stuck on it like glue. it was weird

Is there a local reef club? I saw a guy come in with purple and watermelon mushrooms, 2 per bag, $5 a bag..... sold probably 20 or 30 bags. Think, you could have 100, 150 bucks right there
