I've not had that happen to any of my leathers, but there are some pests that do eat leathers.

over 350W total, this one is over 8 months old, I think im gonna have to fragg it all up and down. I took a seringe and blew it all out and their is hole leading into the stalk

I lost a nice Fiji leather to this, it is a worm - - the hole is the key.
You'll need to frag it or it will eventually die - I'm sorry!

Well on the bright side I will have alot of little ones . Can you frag the stalk to or just through that out?

In my opinion - frag anything you can, what do you have to lose? Beats losing it to the trash!

I didn't frag the stalk but fragged every little piece I could - - got about 3 nice leathers out of all the little frags. Good luck!

K, im prepin every thing. I will see If i can extract the parsite to. I will try to keep as much as I can. I will through out all stuff that looks infected or damage. (kinda wish I had kept a jug of embalming fluid)

for the parasite, normal rubbing alcohol will work fiine to keep it.
