What Should I Get For My B-day????

I have a 100gal tank thats mostly softies and a few sps. Its been up over 2 years. I have an Iwaki wmd40rlxt return pump (split into 2 returns). I also have 1 rio 800 powerhead and 1 small otto powerhead. I was thinking of ordering the wavemaster pro wave maker and 3 maxijet 900 powerheads as my b-day present. All my corals are doing awsome thouogh without one. My other idea was a kent ro/di hi-s water system. I however already get ro/di water at the lfs and it works out to be CHEAP! and there are no problems getting it. WHAT SHOULD I DO???????????? Wave maker or ro-di???????????

Thanks for your opinion!!!!
Dennis

Hey Dennis, you said it best yourself in the question, your corals are doing GREAT without one! I'd hold yourself from changing your setup if everything is already doing excellent. Therefore I'd suggest the RO/DI or maybe just splurge yourself for some new corals, etc. HTH.

Hey Dennis;

Happy upcoming B-Day While I'd be the last to say don't get more corals if you're planning on doing more SPS a good wavemaker might be in order.

The RO/DI would be my choice. I was able to purchase RO water for cheap, but the time and energy that I have saved by not having to haul all my water from the Supermarket has been more than worth the cost.

Andrew

Hi Dennis,
Personally, I would get the RO/DI unit especially since everything is doing great.
Don't agonize over the decision though, after all there are other holidays coming up that deserve gifts for the reef....
Memorial Day
Flag Day
Arbor Day
or even better.... Any Day.
