Sounds like ick try soaking the food in garlic.Seachem makes a stuff I think called garlic extrem or some thing like that and you could put him in your hospital tank and treat him with meds.can you take a pic.so we can see it?

Clownfish rarely get ich, but they often get Brooklynella. As the weather gets warmer we'll see more instances of this.

Are the fish wild-caught or tank-raised? Doesn't often matter but will help figure out when/where they contacted it.

Freshwater dip helps but a formalin bath or treatment with formalin in a hospital tank is in order. DO NOT NOT NOT use Formalin in your display.

HTH

I would look at other tank parameters. Let's go back to basics and see if you finished your ammonia cycle. This is the most bulletproof of fish.

While in general I'd agree with you, Perry, the symptoms described sound like Brooklynella, a parasite. Usually the fish come in with it.

Yes, parameters will rule out water quality as a possible stressor that makes the condition worse, but it's likely that the fish were carrying it.

Cheers
