what pump to use for sump

any ideas what pump to use for my 55 gallons 10 gallon sump. i will have a 300gph overflow and want to closely match that 300gph to avoid air bubbles. i know i want the pump to be submersible but im worried about the heat.also you can use flexible tubing/hose instead of pvc right? it would be easier for me im a new.

You'll have to measure the height between the bottom of the sump and the tank return level to calculate the head pressure. Then check the charts for flow at that pressure, but it appears that a Mag 5 would be close.
