What lights do you have for your sump/fuge? I want good algae growth


Topic says it all. I have a Coralife 10,000k PC right now, is that good?

For good algae growth in the fuge I would say the lower wattage the better. I only have 18w PC on my fuge with great algae growth.

I don't know how much is the correct amount of light I have a mix of No and PC spot lights on my refugium . I think about 40 to 50 watts on mine and everything is doing good. My refugium is a larger one.

I think so, I will put more on mine in the future. I am thinking about MH light on mine. Macro algae like good light also. May be 70 w
