Question

What is this critter?

We saw his molt floating around for the last day or two. This morning, it came zipping to the front of the tank at warp 6 to hide under this snail.

ID please?

I bagged him this morning. He's in QT until I know he's NOT A MANTIS! LOL! He may make a nice sixline wrasse snack.

So true! Doesn't look anything like a Mantis, methinks.

If you got one ya gots hundreds. They like to live in filter floss and come out in hordes at night. Just think of them as farm animals for your fish. the shrimp eat algae and crud and the fish eat the slow ones.

That explains it. This one (a survivor) was moving at warp 6 from the back of the tank up to the front.

thanks guys. he's in the refug now, hopefully with many thousands more to come.
