Lets see, I have:
2 true percs
1 matched goby/pistol
bunch of hermits
1 emerald crab
1 long armed sea star
bunch of snails

The only coral near there that is in stinging distance would be a candy cane coral, or far less likely a torch.

hmmm. hard to tell then, maybe its about to bud part of itself off, im not sure if it looks like that though, is it still pulsing? does it seem healthy besides the huge gash in it? if nothing seems off, i would just keep and eye on it, see if it gets worse or better.
