what happen to my zoo?

ok, i have this zoo for a week. but up until yesterday. it doesn't open up at all. only few of them, but those not even fully open up....i notice that the bigger light brownish polyps have been growing like crazy. you can see it from the 1st pic. there were only 5 of them. but there are 15+ of them now....what happen? did those brownish polyps kill my green skirt zoos???
by the way, my other 2 zoo frag are fine. only this one have the problem. it's a 30g tank with 192w PC

it looks like this for a week

then yesterday.....

man...whoever put that frag together wasn't too bright.

Those brown polyps don't look like zoa's to me. They look like Palythoa's. Much bigger, and a bit more potent. (i.e. They're KILLING the neighboring zoa's).

you can also use joe's juice or kalc to melt the polyps off. Use a syringe if you do it this way and be mindful not to get it on the green skirt zoa's.

If you do pluck it, be sure to use gloves and be mindful because a lot of these might be poisonous.
