what do you know about anthias

What I know
-For the most part very difficult to keep
-Often need groups of 1 male and several females
-Big swimmers, so although they may not be huge the need lots of space.

What I am wondering
Any info at all about them would be great.
Are there any that are happy in a smaller group?
Any that can be considered hardy, not just compared to other anthias, but in general?
Would a 120g be too small dimensions 4ftby2ftby2ft
What are the largest limitations to these fish?
Shy or Aggressive? Easily bullied?

So basically anything you got put it out there.
I think many people agree that these are beatiful fish, but I believe perhaps outside my ability to care for at the present time. If this is so the why?

Okay thanks
lets see what we can come up with!

There are some species that are more difficult than others. Bartlett's are supposed to be fairly easy. They all need to be fed several times a day, from what I've read and been told by other reefers. They can be kept singly if you don't want to keep a harem. If you would like to keep a harem ( one male to 7 or 8 females) only in your tank with no other fish, I think you probably have enough space.

I've witnessed Bartlett's feeding on pellet food - New Life Spectrum - and their colors were amazing!

Great
it would be a cool tank with the harem, however not for this tank, since I already have a few fish that will have to move in.
If you do have 1 housed singly will it maintain colour or will it fade with age or out of not showing off for anyone?
thanks for the reply!
