How much PC light over what size tank?

Provided you have a good ammount of PC light I would say all LPS and Softies, plus if the tank has the water quality to support it you can probably get away with monti caps at the very top.

I went to a guys house in Santa Barbara, who had PCs over his 40g. He had stags and montis growing like crazy. Same with another guy around here, he had a huge monti towards the top. Probably LPS mid-top, and softies anywhere you want..

those measurements don't really make sense. Are you talking about a 20 gallon "long" tank? For PC lights, I'd stick with softies and lps too, unless you were designing something special for sps.

The public school system fails again!

Seriously, a 30" long 20 gallon will be a 20L...that's a pretty shallow tank...you can keep most any soft or LPS coral...probably even a monti cap or birdsnest if you keep you're husbandry up.

Zoanthids and Palythoas from my experience do well with pc lighting. Also alot of softys do well with PC such as Leathers, Ricordea and Mushrooms.
