I'd look at the 6 bulb tek fixture. This one would be a plug and play setup.

If you have a canopy, check out their retro fit kits. They are slightly cheaper and are also very great.
The real question will be the bulb combination...

I agree,.. that would be my choice too. The ticket is to get one with individual parabolic reflectors,.. that's what makes T5 bulbs really worthwhile.

If I go T5 it will be the Aquatinics Constelation.
I dont think the TEK lights have the individual reflectors plus the cooling. There is a great thread on RC in the Lighting forum regarding everything about T5's.

They do have individual reflectors and they cool through the use of convection. I have these fixtures and I was blown away at the amount of air that escapes through the top vents with no fans. These units stay cooler than my current usa fixture that had built in fans

I did an ice cap 430 retro with individual reflectors and added two fans in my hood and love it.

living out here way past Podunk, technology comes slow, so I haven't seen any of the T5 tank lights , But i work in a warehouse big enough to play a league football game in and I noticed that the 6 tube Flo lights are skinny tube and BLINDINGLY bright when you look up to watch for sprinklers and stuff as you raise the parts picker 30' in the air.
I will concede they are bright, they ought to kick lumens on my 2 Icecap 430s
