Question

what are your thoughts

hey i have a 65 gal reef tank with a 210gal that has just been started and i dont like to put anything in it until i have all my coral in and i got a really good deal on a regal tang that i wanted and i was wondering if it would be ok in a 65 gal for about 4-6 months depending on how smooth everything go's but i have some poylps and 1 brain and 2 sebae anenomes and 3 indo cleaner shrimp about 5 damsels about 35pounds of each fiji and tonga live rock do you think the regal will be fine in there or do you think it was a big mess up to try and keep him in there or will he be ok in there until i get it all up to par

Welcome to The Reef tank !
How large is the regal? If it's tiny it would probably be OK in the 65 for a few months but I'd worry about the damsels picking on it. If it's a larger tang he may stress out in such a small tank

welcome to reef tank...that is the longest sentence ive ever seen. Can you break it down a little more clearly? What is in the old tank? What do you want to transfer? What would you like to keep in the new tank?

Welcome to TRT!I wouldn't put anything in the tank till it cycles and when you have all the rock.Evertime you add rock it goes threw a cycle.Which is to much stress on the Regal.

just so you guys know i did fail english. i am lucky i spelt everything right lol.
the tank is about 5 months old .my second attempt at salt water. my regal is about around 3inch's. i have to breeding pairs of clowns ocellaris and tomato they both pairs dont bother each other except one time they spawned really close to each other.i have one blue devil . to be honest i dont know what kinda of corals i have in there right know they came with the tank .I also have 3 white striped cleaner shrimp that are always being bugged by the regal she is like a neat freak but she did have a small case of ich when i got her but she was only 15$ and there up around 90$ where i am. I have 1 feather duster from hawaii . I will try to figure out the types of coral i have and get back to you on it. the regal is the boss in the tank by the way..
