Well i know it's not slim. If you could see what i see. when i get closer there are little spots that make it look like slime. these little spots are lined up in a zig zag pattern kinda like these moth eggs. But a whole lot smaller.

They are snail eggs..i promise.....couldnt tell you what kind but i can tell you that the vast majority of them will end up toast as free swimming larvae that your fish will eat or your pumps will chew up......thats why they lay so many

well i dont know which snail they are to start with nassarius snails or nerite snails

which both dont seem like they could.
1st the nassarius are really hard to breed, but thats just what i have found on the net
2nd nerite snails breed in brackish water so unless you SG is low its not them.

"SG" ??? are you talking about the salt level. If so i might have to go buy me a new way of checking my salt levels. because i have a floating hydrometer and it shows that it's write where it's suposed to be. i would like to get one of those Salinity Refractometer. one of my LFS showed me how they work and i have wanted one since.

its just the hydrometer reading and SG is specific gravity or how much salt is in the water

They are snail eggs. some of the first batch have hatched. I can barley see the baby snails moving around on the glass. and yeah i said first batch, i saw another batch of eggs the next day. also i saw a third batch acutally beeing layed by the nassarius snail. what did you mean when you said planktonic larve "dobejazz".?
