If I throw my one-eyed cat in the tank does that count?

Not that I would be so cruel as to throw my cat in the tank...it may stress the fish

Hey bruce
Copepods?

Err, do birth defects count? If so I would have voted one of my damsels (C. viridis), hehe...

Hmmmmm......this one has me stumped, Bruce
Horge may be right about the copepods but I can't see the ones in my tank clearly enough through tri-focals to tell how many eyes they have!
How 'bout a "One-Eyed Jack" Crevalle"?

I think I remember reading somewhere that some types of starfish have a single primitive light-sensing organ, but I don't know if you would call that an eye.

I think we will give Horge a 48 hour handicap on future questions .

The only known animals with just one eye are tiny, swimming crustaceans called copepods.

Copepods swim in short bursts by moving their long, branching antennae. Most kinds filter their food from the water, eating algae, protozoa, or bacteria. They are the most abundant animals in the ocean, and they are a very important part of the plankton food chain. In actual numbers, there are far more copepods in Earth's oceans than there are insects on land!

The most common kind of copepod is called the Cyclops, named after the mythical, one-eyed giant.

Ok.
I am sending you a 253 peso(I think that would be about $5 US) gift certificate towards a bucket of Instant Ocean.
