Question

What additives do you use?

I use Reef Builder, iodine and reef buffer...These seem to work fine, and my ph is always around 8.3. So what do you add?

I don't use much of anything. I relay on water changes for trace elements and I top off the tank with Kalk. I also feed phytoplankton once a week or so.

Instant Ocean salt mix. I dose Kalk daily and top off with RO/DI. The only other thing is Kent turbo calcium. I tried a ton of things before but the tank looked crappy. Cut down to the basics and it looks great! I also started feeding eith Jerels 'blender mush' and the fish and corals love it!

No additives in the 120...just food every other day or so and bi weekly 10% water changes. I do have a ca reactor though.

B-Ionic daily in the 20 gal frag tank and food every day for the clown pair.

I don't know what Jerel's exact formula is but I made some up from shrimp, oysters, scallops, fish, nori, and selcon. I couldn't find any clams at the time but I would have used them if I could.

No need for additives I do water changes (IO salt mix) and use a calcium reactor.

Oh yeah, I use a kalk reactor to.
