What a way to end a week....

Well to add to the starfish problem.. I now have new litte crisis on my hands complements of UPS. I ordered up a dozen tiger trochus and a dozen nassrius snails for delivery today. I ran out to run some errands thinking that UPS, if they came while I was gone, would leave the box on the doorstep or in the clubhouse like they always have in the past. Welllll.. either I got a new driver or some really thick headed one. He left a note on the door, will retry delivery on Monday. I called UPS and they have NO way to contact the local site. Amazing.... anyway.. my question is this. What do you think the survival chances are for these guys if they deliver on Monday??

Bummer, less than 50/50. Did they give a reason why they didnt leave it. If you have
mortalities contact the vendor and enlist there help. Call UPS and RAISE HELL. If it was sent overnight they should have to honor that. Good luck

I do plan on raising hell with UPS. The package came signature required, but that just means someone needs to sign it. Its not like registered mail where I HAD to sign it. They have always gone to the clubhouse previously, just not this time. I have contacted paragon aquatics already about it and will let them handle things from their end as well.

Sorry to hear the time you did licvestock they dropped the ball. UPS drivers are under pressure to keep a schedule but Overnight means overnite, Keep up pressure from both ends, hope it works out

Well a little update.. I got my package this morning. Half the trochus died off and a few of the nassarius. I had no idea those were so small. Anyway.. I acclimated them and then dropped them in. Even feed the dead ones to the tank. When the dead trochus hit the sand the nassarius went nuts and converged in a hoard. The live trochus got the heck out of dodge.

Anyway.. ordered more and filed a claim with UPS today.
