it roams from corner to corner
and when i ask amenome
which corner he likes the best
he up & moves again
never stopping to rest"

Ann-Marie

He's either looking for current, light, or food. Try feeding him a little more.

If you want your anemome to stay in one spot you can make a small corral of liverock rubble around its foot, sometimes it works...........

Are you sure you are meeting the condy's lighting requirements?

What kind of lighting is it under ? If it has sufficient lighting, I think it it trying to get away from to much direct current.

What kind of power head do you have ?

I had a roaming H crispa, and i placed its foot inside a section of PVC pipe, about 2 times the diameter of its foot, and poured sand around the foot till the PVC was full. It never moved again until i moved it into a new tank.

yikes! last night he actually managed to get sucked into the powerhead ....some careful manuvering on my part got him free with no tearing or shredding. YEAY!

i put him on my one peice of rock that doesn't have anything on it (rip-off peice at $6 lb.) and he seems to like it, as he's been there for 12+ hours now without roaming....

i have an actinic light...marine glo i think it's called...he's right in the light and is all big & hapy looking now so i guess he settled down

WHEW! that's good news

Ann-Marie I don't mean to scare you but here's a picture of Helen our old condy. When she wanted to, she could spread over two feet.
