weird growth on trigger!

My trigger has slowly been having a swelling on his face. this pic is a couple weeks old and its larger now. the scales look normal but there is a swelling underneath. anyone have any ideas? he eats cut up pieces of shrimp, mussel, clam, squid, nori, and some prepared foods.

It is really hard to see in the picture, I do think I see some swelling, but not for sure. Maybe a better and larger picture will help,

Wow , I can see now, I don't know whatthat is , It looks like some kind of internal growth, You say he is still eating and acts normal, I really don't know but will try and do some research. and maybe someone else may know.

yes its such a shame, this fish is the whole reason I started a second tank and its been nothing but a thorn in my side since. he was such a pretty fish. I hope I can find out what it is and make it go away.

I'm not sure if it would help but give him some garlic if he will eat it. It's spouse to be an immune system builder. Just might be some kind of infection or something.
