Missed this thread when it came out, so here goes.

As my profile says:

I'm a blueberry farmer(when i'm not doing my paying the bills gig=Industrial Elect Tech), 642 bushes on the back Forty. Not my choice , they came with the property when we bought the place 15 or so yrs ago.

Anything critter. Have 3 German Shepherds and 3 mini-Doxies (at this time ) I have been involved with dog training and Schutzhund for many yrs. (My cousin is a professional dog trainer , and i assist him when needed also) I also assist in training Police K9s for placement on local forces. Currently the Shepherds i have now are just plain ol house /kennel dogs, tho i used to have comp dogs along with Police K9 and retired K9/Schutzhund Shepherds at my kennels.

I scuba dive, and in the old days of having a salt only LFS, used to collect for the shop, in the Keys when it was more than a few grandfathered licensed collectors down there presently. (To date myself, i collected when live rock WAS legal to collect, you do the math LOL) I collected under a friend's collection business,he "hired" me when i came down to the Keys many times a yr. back then.
I used to be on a Law Enforcement dive rescue team when i lived "up north" of where i am now,and tho i don't miss it much it was a memorable time but at times the subject of a search/rescue was not of a happy topic .

My wife and i collect antiques, and have loads of stuff around here , hence the jokingly part of my username : Junk zoo (you already have figgered out the 2nd half LOL)

I have parrots as more critters here, and am a Super Moderator on TRT's sister board- Birds of a Feather. My first parrot, a sulpher crested cockatoo, named Sinbad, has been with me for some 30 yrs. He was a wild caught bird, so i really don't know his real age, but he acts like he's still a baby bird to this day (and acts like if not better than most hand raised 'Toos do)

Also collect and restore antique radios, from early transistors to large upright console types .

And i am involved with antique/ classic cars, having a '65 Shelby GT-350, since i restored it back in '79.
I've had a few other vehicles over time, but now i spent my free time(what lil i have of it)helping with with my Dad's collection of cars : 1940 Cadillac convert sedan (limo-like/ext wheelbase, one of 11 or 12 ), a '50 Mercury coupe, and now a 1929 Packard convertible coupe, all restored to concours condition. My dad have prob has had 25-30 antique cars over the last 35 yrs, and has culled his collection to these few now.

You can prob add a few other things to "what i do when my arms are not buried in a tank" , but those are hit and miss obsessions i dabble in.

Whewwwww, reading all this just confirms why i'm wore out all the time LOL

A guy a know jumps like crazy. He probably has close to 1000 jumps. Only 1 accident so far. A gust of wind closed his chute at like 50 ft. He bounced off of the ground like a ball. He got lucky and only busted his finger. Somewhere on the web there is a video of it. I will try to find it.

Yep I have just over 70 jumps... I love it... Weather sucks lately... Driving a NASCAR in Richmond this saturday so no jumping... Then camping... I got a buddy with about 4000 jumps... He's an instructor so that's a bunch of jumps... There's an awesome lady out there with over 16000 jumps... Call her the "Queen"... Maybe the most or second most jumps of all women...

Add to my lifestyle 30 yrs of rotating shiftwork (a week of days/afternoons/midnites) and getting only a couple hrs of sleep every third week, during the week o' midnites (The last 20 yrs outa those 30+)

I need a nap

Seem the hobbies change as we age...

My only constants have been cooking, traveling and photography, the reefs, and my cars.

Running and cycling pretty much stopped after the last auto accident.
