Wednesday morning
AJeze...
I am going through one of those JennM Work-my-butt-off-for-14-hours-and-can't-wind-down-to-sleep-at-night cycles, I guess I will go make coffee for the day.
Heh! at least I don't have to work today...
maybe I'll go out and see if I can find some $2.99 a gallon gas... 
I guess I'll have to go see Dick before I can't afford to anymore.

Morning Tom! I can relate. I dont sleep much with this new medicine. Dont much cre for that. Of course once you get the PM I just sent you You may come looking for me regardless of the gas prices. I actually live in...um...Venezuala, yeah, thats it Venezuala.

Most important news these days really is dealing with the aftermath of Katrina Luckily, my cousins that live in NO drove to their parents' home in Lafayette, LA, which is about 120 west and 40 higher than where they lived by the lake. Turns out that they were really lucky that trees in their yards didn't fall on their houses.
Lots of prayers for everyone's safety!

Morning everyone. Today is a short six hour day at work. Christy cannot go over 40 hours so will be horseback riding in Harriman State Park. Today is the last day they offer it until next June. She gets the resort staff discount which is good.
Hope it does not snow again today like it did yesterday. That was pretty bizaare, but pretty normal for the mountains here.
We are still crossing our fingers on finding a place "up the hill" so we can ditch this commute.

Hi Cath! Most places here are $2.539 for reg.I've seen it $2.999 and as low as $2.669 for reg and thats Gulf,the no names are $2.799 for reg!Go figure!

George - we're lucky here (so far.....) there are a few off brands that are $2.27. Most brands are $2.40 or more.

Tom, come on over! Gas was only $2.46 on my way home last night....hate to see what it might be this morning, though!
The OrthoDoctor put a cast on FishGirl's thumb yesterday...nearly up to her elbow. It's really going to put a crimp in her writing and school work. She's really frustrated about it but she's a trooper and will get through it. I sincerely appreciate all the well-wishes for her from yesterday's morning thread.

Perry, horseback riding for Christie sounds like fun! That's such a scenic area and there's just something about seeing it from a horse...kinda gives you the feeling of being one of the early Westerners.
This fellow doesn't have gas problems....doesn't even have a credit card and could care less about having one. It only costs him a 'buck' to go anywhere he wants!
