wavemaster pro??

anyone have and use one of these?? I have been looking at getting one for the 180 but I already have bought 3 Seios, and I have read that you can't really use them on this controller so, I would have to change my plan, but if they work like they are described to, it would be really nice to have a variable flow...anyway, if you use one of these or have any opinions between using the 3 Seios I have already purchased or using this wavemaster with, say, 3 maxijets,... chime in.

Which seios do you have?? Cant you get a controller for them??

I have used a wavemaster pro before with maxijets and it worked well, but the flow pattern on the newer seios is much better and would be much preferred on a controller vs MJ on a controller IMO

2 1500s and one 1100...going to put one 1500 in each back cornerside going across the tank and was thinking about putting the 110 in the middle back to sort of intersect the 2 1500s...I will look into the seio controller, forgot they came out with one...

Seio's cannot be used with devices like this, they dont like the on/off action. I believe it says it right in their instructions.

Hey Jen,
You can get a controller for the seios. I have seen a couple for sale in the last couple days for sale on reefcentral. can't wait to see that 180 finally set up.

Somebody forgot to tell my SEIO 820's about that. I have been running them on a Wavemaster Pro just fine for several months now. I got the idea from a maintenance customer that has 2 on a wave maker and has had them that way for almost 2 years.

The only thing he or I have experienced is a slight rattle when they start up sometimes. Nothing real bad. And the flow is incredible. I have the 2 820's and 1 MaxiJet 1200 with a Hydor FLO on it all running on the Wavemaster Pro.
