water top offs


Hey I top off my tank water (when it evaporates) with ro water should I be mixing it with tank water before pouring it into the tank? What is the best way to do this?

slowly... dont just dump it all in you will stir up too much stuff and could cause a salt spike

Don't have a sump but I pour about a 16 oz glass at a time is that to much, it's a 30 gallon

one of the ways i do it, i have a container i picked up fron the LFS, it was a drip water jug for lizards, it lets me control the amount of water goingoin to the sump. i just set it to drip a fwew drops every minute. i have not had any problems witha swing at all..

Is the water container for the lizards what they drink out of. would it be good to run some type of drip into my power filter

it is a drip container for them, i added a mod to it so i can determine the rate
