Cool

Water top-off system

I have been making a water top-off and just got it running this morning! The sumps have stayed right on the mark I started it at (normaly the sump would have dropped about a 1/4" by now)
The top off holds about 12-14 gallons and hopefully will make life alot easier. I'll try to get some picks of it as soon. It works on the same principle as the one on this site http://mailer.fsu.edu/~lleclair/watertop.htm
but is made out of acrylic (old Amiricale wet/dry)

Kewl Scott; you're always coming up with good DIY stuff. I'm already getting tired of adding water to the 125. I have several projects on the drawing board but I think I need to fit a top-off on there somewhere

Alice, It was real easy to build. I can build one for you or walk you through it. If you have a small acrylic tank laying around (10+ gallons) it would work great. cost minus the tank/acrylic is about ten bucks. If I build it it might cost you a frag or two
