water temp is 80 ?
well my tank is and always was 80 in the summer and 78 in the winter is this ok wat do you think about this fish are always healthy but do you think its bad.

mine has been at 82-83 with the heat for my 60g but my nano cube has been at 79-81

Whew! Good to know. My tank creeped up to 82 yesterday, what with the heatwave here on the East Coast. I put a fan on it this morning, but now I can take it away!

If you dont have sps a 4 or 5 (or more)degree swing daily isnt that big of a deal......im not saying it is ideal by any means but lps and softies are much more tolerant than stonies of extreme temps and fluctuations. Ive lost stonies in the past in the same circumstances that the lps didnt seem affected by.

80 is FINe. My ac went out while I was out of town a few wks ago, and the tank went up to 86, nothing died.

use fans or target water movement at the surface to kool down a lil if youre that worried.
