Question

Water quality

The purple coraline algae is turning white. Help? Does anybody know what could cause this to happen?

Hello and welcome to TRT! This could be from many reason....What are your tank specs like ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, Ca, Alk, pH.

Also you might be better luck if you post this on GRD.

Did you put new lights on? You might want to up the grav to 1.023-.025. Are you adding any thing new to the tank?

Lots of light thats good. Your calcium is a little high do you add it your self? I think you want it around 400-450ppm.
