water quality
does anyone know the water quality of lansing mi. city water? the reason i ask is the "local fish guy" told me he uses this water in all of his reef tanks, and never had a algae problem. i don't have the jack for a r/o unit right now, so if the tap is really o.k. i might do cartwheels. i don't mind lugging water back and forth, but if i don't have to, well thats just fine to. i d0on't want to take the wrong advice and screw anything up beyond repair.
