Water Quality

Looking for some opinions here.

Do you really lose that much water quality using Distilled water as opposed to RO/DI?

No,... I don't think so,.. but using distilled water will get very expensive, very fast.

I agree with Wiskey, it will get very expensive in a hurry I think you would be better off just ponying up the money for an RO/DI unit. I use the unit that is available for purchase on melevsreef.com and I have been very happy with it. I think by going this route you will save money in the long run.

I don't need a very big one. They have them for under 100 right?

You can probably find one for under 100 dollars. Just remember, you get what you pay for. Make sure you find one that has a vertical DI canister instead of a horizontal canister setup.
