Water Mixing setup questions

I currently have a 30 gal Reef setup and a 210 gal which is not set up at all yet. From other posts I have been told to watch carefully the water changes as it can drastically change things in the 30 gal. I have a 100 gal stock tank, a Mag Drive 240gph pump and some pvc pipe and went to work. I fill the stock tank using the clean discharge from a RO/DI filter. My plan is to mix the water and get the parameters as close to my current tank water as possible before using it for water changes. My question is how long will the water keep leaving the pump running 24/7? Obviously adding freshwater to replace evaporated water. Would I be better off getting the parameters where I want them and storing it in sealed airtight containers?

Most people just store the RO/DI water and mix the saltwater a day or two before they plan on doing a water change. Put a heater in it to bring it up to tank temperature, check the salinity *after* heating it. Then a PH for circulation and let it run for 24 hours or so, then do your WC.
