Water Choice
Hi am wondering if anyone uses tap water and then uses a conditioner with it. I talked with a guy who uses tap water and has no problems. If anyone does and suggests it what type of conditioner do you use.
Thanks,
Pollitz

Tap Water
I use tap water, conditioned with "Dr Foster & Smith Neutralize", and then use Reef Crystals. So far no problems, but I am really looking at doing RO/DI.

Nope. I am currently working on blind luck.
Okay, so I suppose that gets added to my wish list, along with lighting.

Water conditioners only neutralize active agents in the water source....i.e. ammonia, chlorine and chloramines. RODI is the most cost effictive or you can haul distilled by the gallon from WalMart. Do yourself a favor and prevent the coming crash. Mine was AWEFUL, 3 years ago!!!!!
