watchman goby with red on him and dying macro

ok folks I got an issue with the 29 gallon tank waiting for seahorses....

i have macro in the tank and it grows well for a few months and then just dies off. i have a huge patch that was n ice and green adn full and tall at teh start of the week ( has been in the tank like 2 months now) and is fading to white and limp... i will try for pics later.

My temp is at like 82 and i have been keeping ti in the mid 70's to get ready for the horses.

i also have a yellow watchman goby in there that has 2 red marks right above his eyes, htey look like cuts or slits... yes I know pics would be helpful, but he won't stay out long enough...

sg- 1.024
temp 82 - just added a fan adn turned off lights to lower temp to mid 70's again.
ammonia- 0
ntrite-0
nitrate-0
alk 7
cal 400

zoanthids gorwing and looking good
slight algea growth due to high nutrients and low flow envoirment...

HELP!

I will check back to answer more questions as i can - friends are intown until tommorow evening

thanks guys!

She has the 4 bulb 24" Tek T5 retro with Triad ballasts, and the individual parabolic clip on reflectors by Sunlight Supply.

Amy,.. I'm thinking the Macro might be going Sexual on you,.. the way you describe it going white and dieing off every couple of months sounds about inline with that.

As far as the fish,.. well,.. You know how much I know about fish

I agree, it might also be too much light as well. do you see some areas where it is not dying?

If you think light might be the issue you could always move the Macro to a partly shaded area and see if that helps. Still no ideas on the Watchman though.
