Ya, I tend to dose vodka a few times a week to myself also so I have a regular supply on hand, That's why I was curious about the possible extra benefitsI ad kahlua and cream to mine though!!!

Probably similar to dosing sugar... promotes the growth of bacteria that will consume the nitrates.

The fish might bump into the glass occasionally, though. A little comic relief in the tank. I hear tangs can be mean drunks. The clownfish sometimes get a little sentimental, then there are the snails who fall off the glass occasionally. Just don't let them get started on the karaoke.
