Vivid Aquariums thumbs up!

I am currently spending 3 weeks in Southern California for work and took the opportunity to go visit Vivid Aquariums yesterday. I have their web site bookmarked as I like the selection they have and the LR prices are nice too. Up to the point of stopping the build on my 150 I had been all geared up to start ordering from them.
When you go into the store the first thing you notice is the cleanliness. Ive been in a few LFS's and this was the cleanest. The water in each system was crystal clear, and i mean CRYSTAL clear. the tanks, displays, frag and holding were all clean. I didn't see one floater in the whole store either. All the fish looked to be in great health and very active. Oxygen tanks for packaging were visible as was the fraging and bagging set up.
The coral and all of the frags had great color too.
The surge system for the frag tanks is totally cool and everything looked well thought out from a plumbing aspect.
The whole time in there I didn't see any pressure sales for this additive or that and the staff was great. Very friendly.
I met the owner Dave and he is a great guy. Easy going and obviously knows his stuff.
The systems were all equiped with skimers, large skimers, that coupled with the plumbing, flow set ups and eveything else showed that they are up to date on whats going on in the hobby with fanatics like us!
The reason I am posting this is that you always see posts here about someone looking for a good online vendor. Based on th quality of animals and attention to details at the store, and after talking to Dave I can say that I wil for sure be ordering from them when I get the 150 up and runing again........when ever and where ever that may be.........

I have ordered from them 2 times and it was the best. The zoos came in with perfect color and they know how to package your product. The two button frags were bigger then expected as well. I will personally keep ordering from them as well.

thanks for this..
I was looking for a good place to order some colorful zoos since my lfs doesn't have any good ones.

I will definitely order something from them, their zoos look beautiful judging by the pics.

Yup, i had posted a thread about them before. I live about 20 minutes away, and by far is the nicest fish store around. They have a very nice tank that they are in the process of setting up. How long will you be in california for maybe we can meet up? Send me a PM if interested.
