virtual aquarium

[fish] FYI: http://www.daliworld.net/index.html [fish]

Why preserve nature when we can "create life"? (j/k) Could this be our future?

Cheers,
Steve

I wonder if his damsels fight and if the triggers chew the live rock.

Bizarre...I'll take my real reef..thank you very much.

Brooke, I'm not sure that they do...just installed it a little while ago. I can tell you that an angel fish can literally swim through a grouper though! Neither fish seemed to mind either.

I'm with you, I prefer the *real* thing!

hi fisqualfish,

Yes, I've been familiar with SereneScene's screen saver for quite some time. It is indeed rather nice looking, and if you're after eye-candy, it's obviously the better choice at the moment. The interesting thing about DaliWorld is that if you're connected to the net while it's running, then the fish can migrate from one computer to another. They carry along with them a "passport" which lets you see where they originated. Any ways, just thought it was an interesting concept.

Cheers,
Steve
