ViaAqua Multi-Skimmer

Has anyone ever used a ViaAqua Multi-Skimmer its kinda cheep. don't have my fuge set up yet. already have a skimmer in place but i thought this might help while i am getting my fuge built. still using a hang on filter. but all i have in it right now are some fish, rocks and two Anemones. still finding everything out before i go and buy something else that I will not need nor do i want.

We have one. Even with modifications to the return tube it is a miracle if the thing keeps enough suction for the skimmer. If you blink at the tank then bubbles go crazy in the collection cup. My other skimmer is an EV mid size in a sump for the big tank and all you do on it is clean out the cup hopefully more often than Doug paints his house.

The UV is nice along with the filter (with only the genuine OEM part fitting of course) but doing it over again would be a no brainer.

Spend a little extra coin on a decent HOB filter. One of our sponsors even stopped carrying this skilter as it was generating too many complaints. Call up Marine Depot and see what they can do for you or another one of our dry goods sponsors and you will be a lot better off.
