I was using to vho 50/50's with the help of a 40watt actinic 03 on my 75g reef. I recently tried to switch one of the vho's with a vho actinic03, and switched the 40w to a 10000k. I don't like it...too blue.
I will switch back to the 2 vho's 50/50, and use 2 40w 03's.

Hi there,

I have one Aquasun and three actinic bulbs with a 250W Iwasaki on my tank. I like the colour of this combination when the MV is on but I really don't like the colour of the Aquasun. I've read other comments on this bulb that are along the same lines.

I am pretty sure that we are using 3 50/50 vho's one actinic vho and 2 55 watt older pc actinic on our 5 foot 100 gallon so a total of 550 watts. We will soon be getting 2 250 iwaskis and loosing the p.c's I hope.

I have (2) actinic VHO, (1) actinic/white VHO, (1) Aquasun VHO, and (2) actinic/white NO.

I'm not happy with this setup. I'm thinking about switching to MH or reconfiguring my VHO to (2) Aquasun and (2) actinic/white.
