Question

Velocity Ti Pumps

Hello everybody, I just joined a few days ago and I have already learned quite a lot. Thanks to all of you. I am considering getting a Velocity Ti pump for a new system I am getting ready to buy and I was wondering if I could get some of your thoughts on the Velocity pumps. Thank you in advance.

Great pump. Very quite. I can bearly hear it. The only thing I hear is the quite noise of the water being pump. The pump does not have a fan on it, like the Iwaki, so it will transfer heat into the water. I believe they said about 1 - 3 degrees. I have a 220 gal tank and haven't notice any temperature difference.

I have the T4 pump and it runs hotter than other pumps. I am currently using this pump as my skimmer pump. I have the Dolphin 3600 as my circulation pump and it is also quite.
