how long have you had the tang for sometimes takes them from 1 to 1.5 weeks before they get the hang of it

My last set of Tangs were primarily Carnivores. They could care less about veggies?

I had him in the q tank for a week. he ignored it in there too. he will eat the seaweed if i place small chunks in the intake of a ph and it wizzes by him. it has been feeding on some ha in the main tank just not so interested in the clip. time will tell i guess

That is how mine eat it now. I pretty much just stick a piece in the tank, hold it ubder water for a few seconds then plce it in fornt of a return and let go! The other fish usually eat it and the Tang will eat little floating debris!

Okay...this is goin to sound REALLY wierd...but what color is the clip?

I wish I was kidding...but my Powder Blue tang LOVES the nori...and usually eats half of it before I've even finished pushing the clip on the glass. But for some WIERD unknown reason, if I ever use the red clip, he won't touch it. Green and Yellow clips, and he's a munchin monster. But the red clip, and he just keeps pacing back and forth about 6" from it. Until I eventually remove it an hour later, completely untouched.

Ham,
My Foxface took a while to get used to the Nori. I would say, it was probably the 10th time I put it in the tank before I actually saw him go crazy for it. What I do is put it on the clip and leave it over night...amazingly it is gone in the morning! Like Magic...I am sure some of the others are picking at it but I put about a 2"x3" piece on the clip for everyone so there is no bickering.

I took the suction cup off my clip and tied a piece of fishing line to the clip. I put the sea food salad in the clip and tie the string off. It blows around and actually atracts my fish. Took care of the Tang not eating. In fact this morning I put the clip in the tank and was looking in. The Yellow came up and started ripping the sea weed. About the same time my Coral Beauty came up and pow, the tang hit the cb with it's little knife thing and split the cb's tail! Great!

I woke up this morning to find my veggie clip MIA. Found it a short time later on the back of my tuxedo urchine.
