vallentini puffer


i have a sadle puffer or vallentini puffer and was wondering are they reef safe i had him in my fowlr and i know my wife loves this fish but will he eat lps or softies she doesent really want any shrimp or anything like that but what about corals??

I completely fell in love with one of these at my LFS, but they talked me out of buying it by telling me that it had actually been returned by another customer because it kept eating the coral and killing inverts.

I'd love to hear if other people have had better experiences keeping this fish in a reef.

I had one and he niped at my brains. I gave him to a friend that has corals but not brain ot clams and its doing fine

well i guess my wife has a tough choice to make she has a couple of corals in my tank the she wants to be put in hers eventually 1 is a brain and the other is a scolymia.and a frogspawn

ok will he go after zoos,softies,xenia,shrooms etc she really likes the fish and doesent want to let him go she told me she can live w/o the open brain and scoly but what about the others.
